[Invader Zim: TMHSE]

A good start...

A good start, but no where near perfect.

The animation, for the most part is good borderline great. The voices DO need work, but hopefully by the time we do a new episode the voice actors will have new mics. There are some problems with the backgrounds, but anyone following this project knows that files passed so many hands that it's amazing this thing turned out as good as it did.

The story was mostly worthless (but still had the escence of the show), but with this being a short, obviously you guys couldn't have done a full length episode's worth of material.

Anyway, anyone who watches this and is a Zim fan AND and experienced flash animator (or just a flash animator who would like to work on the project), be sure to visit the board that cyberen linked to in the discription. We need all the experienced animators/storyboardists/voice actors we can get. Also, if you have a large sound library and would like to help us with sound effects, that would help as well.

Either way, good job guys, and hopefully me being on the team won't jinx the next episode. See you at the boards!

[A Bullet]

A little Agnsty

No way around it, this is a piece of contribed crap. "A bullet waaah!! WAAAAH! WAAAAAAAHHH!!!" is basically what this said to me.

I'm not trying to sound mean here, but seriously, if you think that the world is out to get you, and that violence is a way to solve that problem, then you need to get help. Also, as far as actual ANIMATION used in this piece, I'd have to give it a 1 out of 10. There was no animation. Just tweens. Nothing difficult either. Just simple "got this way in 4 frames" tweens. You need to do better than that.

Very Nice Parody

I just finished watching Evangelion for the 3rd time lately, and I'd have to say this does a very very good job of... err... capturing the... essence of the.... character? Well... maybe not, but it does parody them and exagerate them in a humorous manner. And for the other point of the game, it does a good job of poking fun at all the other dating sims, even if it's not a good dating sim in itself.

Very good job. You deserve a pat on the back for this. (BTW, I never write writen reviews of movies, but for this one I made an exception. Feel special.)
